Celebrate International Women's Day on 8th March and be part of the momentum as women get together at thousands of events around the globe.
Are you an entrepreneur or business woman in Bristol? Come and join in the fun.
Join 100 women who are making business boom in Bristol!
We are the Bristol100.
We'll be meeting up at the beautiful Avon Gorge Hotel, Clifton for coffee and croissants and chatting/networking from 9am.
At 10am there'll be photos for the local press on the hotel terrace which has the Clifton Suspension Bridge as backdrop - meeting on/by a bridge is now tradition for IWD worldwide. We'll post our event and its photos online to International Women's Day sites across the world.
Celebrate how far we've travelled! Show our influence on business in beautiful Bristol! Make this an unforgettable start to your morning!
If you can wear a spot of pink that would be fun (not essential!)
And if you want to carry a banner to show who you represent or support, just do it! Sole traders, huge corporates, networking groups, business groups, shops, colleges, factories, coaches, charities, farmers - if you are building the business success of Bristol just come along and be part of it all.
International Women's Day is a time when women show support for each other. So we'll be making a voluntary cash collection to help a woman in the third world get her own enterprise going.
So come on, sisters! Tell everyone you know! Let's break that 100 barrier! Let's have some fun!
Just a note on numbers - as The Avon Gorge needs to be prepared, please register on this site at least 24 hours before. It's free but it gives us expected numbers. The earlier you register, the easier the logistics for the staff. I don't want any of us to go hungry.
Badges - Honestly, I don't see myself printing out a hundred badges. But they really help at networking events. So write your name on a label and stick it on your lapel.
Women's business networks - you are ALL very welcome. This is not a branded event. It's a celebration of International Women's Day for all women.
